Wendy Smooth, associate dean of diversity, equity and inclusion and associate professor in the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, has received the President and Provost’s Award for Distinguished Faculty Service. This award annually recognizes faculty members whose extensive contributions to university policies and programs, through non-administrative roles, have made documentable impacts on the quality of the university.
