The Center for Ethnic Studies invites you to Critical Perspectives on America's 250th, a conversation examining the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States through critical, historical and cultural perspectives. Speakers Ashley Hope Pérez, Carlos Rivas and other guests will discuss how the nation's bicentennial observance creates opportunities to reflect on the histories, communities and experiences that have shaped the United States, while considering whose stories are included, represented or overlooked.
This event is free, open to the public and welcoming to everyone.
