What does it mean to arrive and the social perception of arriving late (as a youth) at a particular mid-western U.S. city? What does it mean to embody an emerging sense of an immigrant identity in an anti-immigrant and anti-Asian climate?  Through the lens of youthscape, this talk looks at youth lives within the intersection of school, work and possible futures. The workshop examines questions of absence, agency and the project of reclaiming citizenships.

This event will be presented with automated closed captions through Zoom.
