About Us

With a university-wide commitment to building diversity among faculty, staff and students, the Ohio State University has exemplified a commitment to diversifying intellectual exchanges. In 2003, the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences established the Ethnic Studies Program to foster the development and growth of interdisciplinary programs that significantly contribute to such exchanges.

Ethnic Studies Program consists of three interdisciplinary programs:

These programs share a common goal of investigating the relationships among ethnic communities at the local, regional, and national levels. Together they promote scholarship and broaden our understanding of the American Indian, Asian American and Latino/a cultures and histories.
